Zermatt is a car-free village. Leave your car outside town and take electric shuttle to your hotel.
The nearest airports to Zermatt are in Basel, Geneva and Sion. There are regular trains to Zermatt.
There is a large variety of accommodation options in Zermatt catering to all tastes and budgets.
If you'd like to explore more of Switzerland, hire a car at your arrival airport. Please be aware that you cannot drive into central Zermatt. Chains are essential so be sure to hire them also. You can book your car in advance through to gaurantee availability.
