At Naeba Ski Resort on Mount Takenoko you can ski, soak and soar. With names like Big Kicker, RSS Power Sportsland and Family Snowland, Naeba Ski Resort has terrain for all skiers and 16 runs to choose from. For those who prefer a more indulgent winter holiday, the greater Mount Naeba area is home to steamy hot springs where you can relax in the great outdoors. To get away from it all and see things from a different perspective, take a ride on the picturesque gondola 'Dragondola' that connects neighbouring resorts and ski areas.

From Tokyo and Niigata you can catch a train to Echigo Tuzawa Station, which is a 3 hour drive from Naeba Ski Resort. Private shuttle busses also run from Tokyo and Echigo Tuzawa Station to Naeba.

Car hire is available in Niigata and Tokyo. During winter, snow chains for your tires are essential so be sure to also hire chains. You can book your car online to guarantee availability.
